Tim worked on this study in the 1980’s, which along with its 3 sister studies in the North, South and East of London finally convinced politicians, residents and business communities that a road building strategy was not a solution to London’s future transport requirements. As a result of the debates this study prompted, the Priority (Red) Route Network was created and London got the London Overground, Jubilee Line Extension, DLR and Thameslink 2000!
