The issue here, on behalf of Network Rail and REI, was to turn the clock back some 6 years and work out a much better way of connecting Wembley Stadium to the local town centre that didn’t involve building a ‘white elephant’ bridge that would consume many acres of valuable development land. We cracked it and after a year of work, the valuable “Certificate of Appropriate Alternative Development” was issued by Brent Council – setting the scene for a true CPO land valuation. Our clients were “absolutely thrilled” by the planning result.
